Nottingham University Gliding Club
Welcome to all returning members and to any new or potential members. We aim to make our club as friendly and informative as possible, so here you can find out almost anything you need to know about gliding and our club as a whole. There is also a forum (open to all) for general discussion, and a Mailing List (also open to all) to keep up to date with important events/happenings in the club.
If there's anything you'd like to know about or feel you'd like to join the club, then please feel free to email us at info@nugc.net

A Word From The President
Welcome to our website! I'm Azusa Yoshida and I'm your President for the 2008/09 academic year. This website is here for you to get some idea about our club and about gliding itself. There is a forum where you can find lots of discussions and announcements, and you are welcome to register yourself there and post your own thoughts.
Please feel free to have a look through both the website and the forum, and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to catch me or another committee member at one of our Tuesday night socials (7:30 in Mooch), contact us by email or ask us at the airfield.
We cover all levels of flying and we are prepared to support anyone - from complete beginners to experienced pilots - in their further progression. We own two gliders: a two seater glider which can be used by those pilots who are training and a single seat glider for those who have gone solo and are looking to progress further.
There are some other important committee members you can get in touch with too - our Flying Organiser, Matt Lumley (flyingorganiser@nugc.net) and our Social Secretary, Rik Brown (social@nugc.net). These people are the ones who organise things, so feel free to contact them if you would like to go flying or join us in one of our fun socials.
I look forward to seeing you on the airfield!
