Welcome back after the Easter holidays!

Added on Tue 1st Apr 2003

The weather is getting better all the time, and this can only be good news for getting lots of flying done. The club had a very successful trip to Portmoak over Easter, with several notable achievements including Pete and Rob both getting their 5 hours' Silver duration, and Rachel getting Silver height. Also some members managed to get into wave and get gold and diamond height - well done. Fraser has also completed all his Bronze and Cross-Country duration legs. We now have several people who are on the verge of going solo, and the Tuesday evening flying courses should enable further progression. Speak to Andy or Huw if you're interested. Since Portmoak, Rachel has finished her Silver badge with a flight to Hus Bos, well done.

The committee for 2003/2004 has been chosen, and will be taking over after the exams at the end of May - see the committee page for details. We also have a social planned for Alton Towers before the end of term, as well as a possible party at the airfield - check your email regularly for details.
