Summer Is Here!

Well we've had a great few weeks of flying at our new home, RAF Barkston Heath. The thermals are really going now, with acheivements all round. Simon got his silver duration (5 hours) and height, and Pete got his gold distance / diamond goal (but forgot to turn his logger on, doh!). We also have a few members that are getting quite close to solo...
Don't forget that NUGC flies throughout the summer and any member is welcome to come along any weekend to fly. The inter-uni competition is also approaching (end of July) - this is being held at Nympsfield, Gloucestershire. For more details on this, email our club president at president@nugc.net. It is open to anyone, solo or not - it is based on achivements, not cross countries!
