Feb 2003 Update

Firstly, welcome to all new members who joined at Refreshers' Fair - 10 in total which is excellent. Also, we welcome back our K13 glider (HPE) after its trip to Nympsfield to have a brand new, crack-free canopy fitted - the glider's looking really good now. On the flying side of things, not much to report due to lack of decent weather (and ground) conditions, but there has been some wave at Syerston, allowing some members to have a longer flight than usual for the time of year. The weather *should* get better from now! However I am very pleased to announce that Andy Langton is now a fully qualified Basic Instructor, congratulations to him. Also ex-members 'Little' Dave Bromley has become a BI, and Ewan is well on his way. The AGM will be on the 18th March, at 7.30 in the Portland Building, further details to follow but attendance is recommended..... In the meantime, we look forward to the Karting Social and various other entertainmens that Rob cares to conjure up!
